The day of the class election came too soon. Pallavi didn’t have much time to get some groundwork in.

As per the tradition in the department, the students weren’t given time to decide who they were going to vote for. The official ‘Why you should choose me’ speech took place right before the voting and self-votes were allowed. So, no one really knew who would nominate themselves for class representative until the very day. Well, except for Pallavi who had announced it on the very first day.
